Welcome to our recipe corner! Our first recipe comes to us from a cookbook written by one of our food corps members, Bailey Swan, for her students! We will be publishing several more recipes from this healthy, kid-friendly cookbook, so stay tuned for more!
1 tbsp cinnamon
⅓ c honey
¼ c water
Juice of ½ lemon
Step 1: Chop pears into chunks
Step 2: In a large pot, combine pears, cinnamon, honey, water, and lemon juice.
Step 3: Cover mixture and let simmer for 10-20 minutes, until pears are soft.
Step 4: Blend and enjoy hot or cold!
