Harlem Grown seeks an organized, go-getter to support fundraising efforts.  This is an excellent opportunity for volunteers with an interest in communications, fundraising, corporate relations, or non-profit management. Farm Education

Harlem Grown seeks enthusiastic interns to become Farm Education Interns. Under the direction of the Farm Manager & Educator, the Farm Education Interns will lead educational tours and workshops on Harlem Grown farms for local schools, youth organizations, and community groups of all ages. This is an excellent opportunity for  volunteers with an interest in urban farming, food justice, youth development, or education to gain hands-on experience leading participatory workshops on composting, sustainability, food justice, plant life cycles, etc. Creative input is welcome to refine and enhance lesson plan repertoire and implementation, time permitting. Full Description.

Harlem Grown seeks enthusiastic Greenhouse Interns. Under the direction of the Greenhouse Manager, the Greenhouse Interns will become familiar with how to run a hydroponic greenhouse - testing pH and nutrient levels, seeding in growing mediums, and adjusting water pressure. In addition to the greenhouse tasks, interns will assist with educational tours and workshops on Harlem Grown farms for local schools, youth organizations, and community groups of all ages.
