Harlem Grown provides service projects at its urban farms for volunteer groups. These unique volunteer experiences are great for community-building with the backdrop of an urban farm in the heart of New York City. Our volunteers help by tending to the vegetables, fruits, chickens—yes, we have chickens in Manhattan—compost and other activities at the farm, and inspiring and working alongside the youth of Harlem Grown.
No prior farming or gardening experience needed!
Please leave your contact information below and we will reach out to help you schedule an unforgettable experience at Harlem Grown.
Due to high demand, we are only accepting service project requests for August 2018-November 2018. If you'd like to be placed on a waitlist for April-June 2018, feel free to submit a form.
For youth volunteer groups (K-12th graders), please submit our Farm Tour request form to be scheduled. Please do NOT submit a non-corporate volunteers form.
