Volunteer with Harlem Grown
There are many ways to donate your time and positive energy to help us further our mission of growing healthy, ambitious youth!
See which opportunity is right for you.
Thanks for your interest in volunteering on our farms! We have a drop-in volunteer program that runs from April through mid-November.
No farming-skills are necessary! All you need is to bring yourself and a positive, can-do attitude! We will be outdoors, rain or shine.
Our farms are now closed for the winter season (November-March).
Please check back in April about our Saturday drop-in volunteer program, or subscribe to our newsletter to receive updates.
If you're interested in organizing a group to volunteer at Harlem Grown, please see Service Projects.
Are you looking for a hands-on learning experience and exposure to to the inner-workings of a community nonprofit organization?
Harlem Grown offers volunteer internships for current undergraduate and graduate students and new graduates. Interns will develop a variety of professional skills, depending on the specific internship.
Interns are requested to commit a minimum of 3-months and spend 5-12 hours on-site or in office.
We are now recruiting Spring and Summer interns.
We are so grateful for the individuals who want to share their time, talent and expertise to increase the impact of our efforts to advance social change in the Harlem Community.
We periodically have specific project needs. If you'd like to be notified when we have a new project posted, please subscribe to our newsletter.
Don't see a good match but would still like to donate for your professional skills? Shoot us a message to firstname.lastname@example.org with details about your project idea. Please write "Skills-based volunteer" in the subject line.
