The National Jazz Museum presents “Protests and Freedom Songs”. In this engaging presentation and performance, participants will learn about and sing protest and freedom songs from Antebellum through the Civil Rights Movement, including famous pieces such as “This Little Light of Mine,” “Ain’t Gonna Let Nobody,” “I’m Gonna Sit at the Welcome Table” and other anthems. The performance is designed for children ages 9 and older, as well as adults of all ages.
